“We all know someone who has been affected by cancer in some way, directly or indirectly. In 2017, I was diagnosed with Leukemia. During my battle with cancer, I was a beneficiary of Tricia’s Hope. I knew about Tricia and Tricia’s Hope for a few years prior to my diagnosis, but I did not know at that time that I was gaining a lifelong friend. My wife and I had been attending the annual Survival Ball for a couple of years prior to my diagnosis. During my hospitalizations, I met many other cancer warriors and the joy I had (and still have) in being able to do my small part to assist them is something that I cherish more than most other things. It is truly an honor and a passion for me to serve as a board member in Tricia’s Hope and continue helping cancer warriors like Tricia and myself.”
